We explain the conditions that affect us most. High blood pressure, diabetes, sickle cell, maternal health, mental health — in plain language, with the symptoms to watch for, where to go, and what care actually costs in Naira.
We check the claims spreading online. From “bitter kola cures malaria” to miracle detox teas, we take the health claims circulating in WhatsApp groups and check them against the evidence. No shaming — every belief has a reason. We just tell you what the science shows.
We publish in the languages people speak. Health information should reach people the way they actually talk. That’s why we publish in English and Pidgin, with key public-health messages in other Nigerian languages where it matters.
