Why dem vex? Dem no get house — the quarters wey dem suppose dey stay don dey under renovation pass 18 months, and e never finish. Some doctors dey sleep inside their motor. On top am, dem seize their call duty food, and new doctors never see salary. Management talk say money from government no reach. Na so the matter be.
If you get appointment for LUTH
• Call the hospital before you waka go. No just carry leg go the clinic fit no hold.
• If dem don admit you or your person: the oga doctors (consultants) and nurses no join this strike. Dem still dey work, but hand no plenty. Ask the ward people wetin be the plan for your treatment.
• If dem give you operation date: e fit shift. Ask dem for number wey you go call to fix new date.
• If na drug you wan collect (HIV, BP, sugar, TB): pharmacy fit still dey open, but call first before you enter road.
Where else you fit go?

• LASUTH for Ikeja
• General Hospital — Lagos Island, Gbagada, Isolo, Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry and the rest
• Health Centre near you (PHC) — for injection for pikin, belle woman check-up, malaria treatment — na the fastest place
If you get NHIA or HMO: your insurance still dey work. Check which private hospital dey your plan and use am — no be say because LUTH dey strike, your cover don die.
